a new play by janis craft developed with the teens on this blog. this is the third play in the rain, stars, sunlight cycle (aka: the synesthesia cycle)
about this blog
the address for this blog is "virtual improv" because that's how this play began. the description for this blog used to read,
"a virtual space for us to make a real play about the virtual and real lives of the fictitious characters from rain and stars. yeah."
if you go to the very begging of the blog (the posts at the very bottom), you will see how this manifested itself in instant messenger chats, in second life, on facebook, and here on the blog.
now that there is a real play, this is a place for us to continue discussion about Sunlight -- the characters, the themes, and the people who bring it to life as it rises and sets with each reading and production. i hope you'll share your experiences here!

hi! i'm working on the play right now. nice to have a comment here on my little break. basically, the status is that i'm writing. i want to connect with everyone again, but i think people are busy and communication is slow. maybe it will speed up when i post some scenes. i'd like to get on SL soon too. want to check it out with me sometime?
we'll definitely need to have another workshop this summer (June, hopefully). spring break was going to be too complicated with everyone's different schedules.
any more ruminations on the sunlight? or other things? if you have discussion topics, please, by all means...

well, hello!
nobody writes here anymore :( booooo
i know. it boos me out too. but, i'm working on the play right now. i'll post scenes bientot so hopefully that will start the discussion again. i've been a bit preoccupied with 2 other plays but this one is still coming along. i really want to have another workshop this june.
I am excited.
oh, i miss stars. it was so much fun. i'm glad the 3rd instalment on this awesome project is underway. is the plan to keep trying different alternate universes with these charicters or are they working toward something else?
well, there's a bit of a plan, but mostly i just keep writing and see where things take me. i think after sunlight, i'll take a look at all three of the plays together and see how they fit as a little series. what i'd love is for this to become a tv series. then i could keep writing scripts for these characters for years. that'd be awesome. sunlight might be the end of the series though... we shall see.
awesome i love it! haha that would be so crazy to see all these charicters on a tv series...
